Optimize your back-of-house operations with this Avantco APT-36-HC 36" 2 door stainless steel refrigerated sandwich prep table, which allows you to better keep up with customer demand. Whether used in a university, sub shop, or hospital, the unit will help streamline the sandwich prep process with its convenient features and capacity. Its top accommodates up to (10) 1/6 size food pans up to 6" deep (sold separately). These pans are great for holding common sandwich or salad toppings, from eggs and cheese to green pepper or ham. Plus, a lift-up lid encloses the top to maintain proper food-safe temperatures.

A full-length cutting board, which is 10 1/2" deep, is mounted to the table surface, providing a place for slicing ingredients and assembling orders. The cutting board can even be removed for easy cleaning or swapped out with another board of your choosing. Beneath the workspace is additional storage space. Because it's refrigerated, the space is great for storing back-up ingredients, such as deli meat and cheese, as well as less-common toppings. Two epoxy-coated shelves are included, and each can accommodate up to 88 lb. of weight to help you with organizing your assorted supplies. Divider bars are also included for ultimate convenience.

High-quality performance is made possible by the unit's 1/4 hp refrigeration system, which maintains temperatures between 33 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit using R-290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. You can control your unit freely using the built-in digital controls.

The construction of this unit is designed with commercial use in mind. It features a stainless steel exterior and an aluminum interior with a 304 stainless steel floor, which is fortified with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. The insulation also helps to promote proper temperature retention. For operation, the prep table requires a 115V electrical connection.

When we unpacked the fridge box , the fridge had a huge dent and scratch at the bottom

Bought this unit for my restaurant in March of 2024. The compressor has gone out for the second time in two years. Warranty covers the part but not the labor. So don't buy this, spend a little more, get a better brand. Because you'll end up spending that much in repairs anyways.

Is mine dead? Yes. Did it work well? Yes it did. Check out the photo, the leaking pipe should be routed up, so it can drain. I have a smaller 2 door for salads and it is made correctly. But I would recommend. I’m ordering another one today.

Don't do it! Purchased this unit and an additional extended warranty through Ready Kitchen warranty. 11 months before the warranty expired the unit stopped working. Submitted a claim on July 15th., Service call wasn't scheduled until July 21st. A company showed up to service the unit on July 26th. and informed us that they needed to contact Ready Kitchen to find out if they would repair the unit or offer a replacement. On July 28 th. we were informed that they would not repair the unit and would ship a replacement. The replacement arrived on August 5th. That's right, 21 days after submitting a claim. Clearly this company does not understand the businesses they are providing services to, 21 days without a refrigeration unit is unacceptable. To add insult to injury we contacted Webstaurant to ask if we could purchase an extended warranty on the new unit and were informed that we could not. So we are stuck with a unit that will, in all likelihood fail prior to the expiration of the remaining warranty (11 months). We will be forced to pay someone to tell us that the unit cannot be repaired. Read the reviews, purchase elsewhere, we will do so moving forward.

The unit is currently out of service and this is affecting my restaurant operations. I would appreciate your prompt assistance. This appears to be a premature compressor failure under normal use.

Piece of junk! Purchased this unit and, after installing it on my food trailer and turning it on for 10 minutes, it powered off and never powered back on again. The screen is black and nothing works. I tried all troubleshooting tips and have adequate power. They are sending a replacement unit but I have zero faith it will perform any better. Business operations are disrupted in the meantime and I just wanted a refund. So frustrated right now!

Using this unit in consistent ambient temperatures above 75 degrees Fahrenheit will void the warranty. Any exposure to ambient temperatures of 90 degrees Fahrenheit or above will also void the warranty.

To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.

Many manufacturers offer their refrigeration equipment in several different height options to best meet your needs. Here's a breakdown of how we classify these different heights:

Counter Height: Work surface is more than 34" high; standard-height unit.

ADA Height: Work surface height is 34" or less; complies with ADA regulations.

Low Profile: Work surface height is less than 32"; designed to fit under most ADA-height counters.

If the unit you are purchasing does not have a flat top, such as a worktop or sandwich/salad prep table, it may affect whether or not it will align with certain countertops. To ensure that the product will meet your needs, please reference the product's literature and specifications.

The types of pans and pan sizes that should be used in your Avantco refrigerated prep table depend on the table model and size. It’s important to refer to your equipment's Specification Sheet and/or Owner's Manual to see what pan sizes and configurations are recommended. Certain accessories may be needed in order to use pans of a different size than what is recommended.

It is also important to note that mixing and matching pans from different manufacturers may result in the pans not fitting properly. To ensure your pans will fit, refer to the items listed in the product’s "Works With" section. The pan sizes and configurations that each refrigerated prep table accommodates may vary. The items included in the “Works With” section may be used in your model, though configurations combining two or more different pan sizes may not be possible or may require adjustments to be made. The exceptions below apply to the model type indicated:

Mega Top Models – Can fit up to (3) 1/3 size pans from front to back without the use of a middle divider; 1/3 and 1/6 size pans cannot be combined in the same section

Standard Top Models – To use 1/3 size pans, included divider bars must be removed, or narrower divider bars must be used

Pizza Prep Models – While 1/3 size pans are the standard to use in pizza prep models, 1/6 size pans may be used when the orientation is changed
