A painted aluminum interior with a 304 stainless steel floor gives you increased durability, while the stainless steel exterior gives it a sleek appearance. Its doors feature transparent glass, which easily displays products to customers or enables employees to spot the needed item before even opening up the fridge. For convenience, six epoxy-coated shelves, which hold up to 88 lb. each, feature shelf clips for customization when desired.

Designed to maintain temperatures between 33-40 degrees Fahrenheit, this fridge boasts a bottom-mounted 1/4 hp compressor that uses R-290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. In addition, the bottom-mounted design makes it easy for employees to load and unload products due to the raised bottom shelf. It also opens up the top of your unit for additional storage space, if necessary. For optimal temperature retention, the entire cabinet utilizes foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. Other helpful features include the automatic defrosting and digital temperature control. This item requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

If this had lasted a couple years before problems I may have given in 2 stars.... maybe. But, I have had this less than 2 months, and the evaporator fan broke already. Lost all my perishables.

Piece of junk. Didn’t work out of the box. Won’t cool. They want me to file a claim instead of helping me. This company doesn’t take care of their customers. Once they get your money they and you down the road. I’m beyond disappointed.

We purchased 2 of these units and started having issues 6 months later with it not keeping temp. We called the warranty company and it’s a phone tag game they play. We filed the claim after getting someone to finally communicate with us after 2 days then we were giving the excuse that someone would contact us back and it’s been 2 weeks. We’re running a daily business and once we made the call and file a claim on the product that they sold us a 3 year warranty why don’t they have the serial number? They took our money why didn’t the information that was sold to us get transferred to them? Another misleading opportunity for them to get you off the phone to prolong the situation. We still have no phone call back and our frig still isn’t keeping temp because the warranty company has not honored their agreement. Purchase additional warranty at your own risk.

I've owned this for less than a month new business started set temperature to 33° climbs to 42 and it stays a constant 38° inside the refrigerator even though it's set for 33 degrees

Fridge is great. Tracking did not work. Requested notice of delivery. This did not happen. It was delivered to my TN location in the middle of lunch. Tracking still showed it was in KY. Had to un box it and deal with installation at lunchtime. Not ideal, with no notice at all too.

No, reach-in refrigerators are intended for keeping cold food chilled, not chilling hot food. If you are looking for a unit to quickly chill hot food, check out our Avantco Refrigeration blast chillers.

To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.

If your unit has pre-installed casters, it may be secured directly to the pallet for safe transport. To remove it safely, tilt the unit slightly to one side and use a wrench or socket set to loosen the bolts attaching it to the pallet. In some cases, you may need to pry up a pallet plank with a hammer to access the bolts or to release casters nested within the pallet base. If you are unsure or need assistance, we recommend contacting a local moving or equipment installation service for help.
