A painted aluminum interior with a 304 stainless steel floor gives you increased durability, while a 430 stainless steel door and exterior sides give it a sleek appearance. For convenience, 3 epoxy coated shelves feature shelf clips for customization when desired.

Designed to maintain temperatures from 33-40 degrees Fahrenheit, this refrigerator boasts a bottom-mounted 1/3 hp compressor that Uses R-290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. In addition, the bottom-mounted design makes it easy for employees to load and unload products due to the raised bottom shelf. For optimal temperature retention, the entire cabinet is foamed-in place using polyurethane insulation. Other helpful features include the stay open locking door mechanism, automatic defrosting, and a digital temperature control with digital display. This item requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

We had high hopes for this fridge. It worked great for about three months. At that point we removed everything, and turned it off to wipe down the walls and clean the shelves. When turned back on, it has not worked the same since. It now can not cool past 60 degrees. We took great care of the fridge, followed all the set up requirements. Had it far enough from a wall, etc. We reached out to support. They immediately sent us to a warranty company saying they can't do anything. Was extremely unhelpful. We now don't have a working fridge. I have all my produce that's dead as a result. And we have to wait an unknown amount of time to get real help. If you are in the market for a fridge, shop elsewhere. You'll want somewhere that doesn't sell garbage and then outsource the support on it We are reconsidering our other supply needs as a result. Don't do business with companies that don't offer real support

We purchased this unit in August 2024 for our food trailer. We bolted it to the floor in the back of the trailer opposite the fryer and 6-burner cooktop. It has performed very well even in the harshest conditions. Despite being exposed to extreme heat and frequently being opened during food service, it has held temperature very well.

The door has come off multiple times. We’re a small coffee shop with minimal traffic. There is no reason the door should be literally falling off its hinges! Very poor design!

The unit arrived covered entirely in cardboard, plastic and stryrofoam. I signed for it because there was no damage whatsoever to any of the packaging. After unwrapping the multiple layers of packing...I found several large dents in very noticeable areas all around it. This could only mean that the fridge was dented BEFORE it was wrapped! Completely unacceptable. Now, I'm stuck with a brand new heavily-dented fridge that I cannot return to the carrier since we signed for it. I am so frustrated that I paid good money for a brand new fridge and it looks like crap! Not the first time I have received a faulty brand new Avantco fridge either. This will be my last Avantco product I ever order! The fridge works okay, but there is a massive interior fan that takes up 8 inches of space all the way across the top.

Dead on arrival. Instead of expediting a replacement, Webstaurant is making me file a warranty claim. I should have read the terrible reviews more carefully. Having been a Webstaurant customer for 10 years, I would have expected them to prioritize taking care of a customer over helping a supplier leave me holding the bag. So, don't buy this fridge, and don't buy one from Webstaurant--there are obviously better options out there on both fronts.

No, reach-in refrigerators are intended for keeping cold food chilled, not chilling hot food. If you are looking for a unit to quickly chill hot food, check out our Avantco Refrigeration blast chillers.

To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.

If your unit has pre-installed casters, it may be secured directly to the pallet for safe transport. To remove it safely, tilt the unit slightly to one side and use a wrench or socket set to loosen the bolts attaching it to the pallet. In some cases, you may need to pry up a pallet plank with a hammer to access the bolts or to release casters nested within the pallet base. If you are unsure or need assistance, we recommend contacting a local moving or equipment installation service for help.
