Worked great for 24 months, very lightly used. Copper lines sprung a couple leaks and would not cool anymore. Repair was $1300!!! Total scam of selling refrigerators that will just go within the first couple of years. Repair guy said Avantco and others notorious for this!! Webstaurant should stop carrying these.

Dead on arrival. Instead of expediting a replacement, Webstaurant is making me file a warranty claim. I should have read the terrible reviews more carefully. Having been a Webstaurant customer for 10 years, I would have expected them to prioritize taking care of a customer over helping a supplier leave me holding the bag. So, don't buy this fridge, and don't buy one from Webstaurant--there are obviously better options out there on both fronts.

This is the worst product. Do not buy this refrigerator. It died last then a year of purchase. And the warranty service is just as bad or maybe worst. My refrigerator has been waiting for parts now 1 1/2 months. Do not buy this product. And warranty company is terrible.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. And this is the *second* Avantco fridge I've bought from WebstaurantStore that turned out to be a dud in just a few years of light use. Purchased April 2019, developed a leak in 2022 and started running hot. The fridge was regassed by a fridge technician, and then it ran cold (ish) for just a few months before deteriorating and running hot again. Thermostat set to 36, actual fridge temp is 56. Sorry, but for reasons of Public Health, we can't store our dairy at 56 degrees. So, we called in a different fridge technician this time. He said, regassing it won't help. It's a low-side leak, and it needs new condenser coils and evaporator coils, a new heat exchanger, filter drier, draining pan coils, AND then of course a freon recharge. The total cost of the repairs was more than I paid for the fridge in the first place, and plus extra cost to get that "diagnosis". Now, it's going to cost me even more to get a junk removal company to come and haul this defunct appliance out of my bakery. So, I'm in the hole for the cost of the fridge itself, PLUS the two service costs, and even then the fridge still won't work. This doesn't even take into account the other fridge that WebstaurantStore sent me in 2018 that constantly ran at 75% humidity, and I was told by a fridge tech that it was missing one of its internal insulation panels! So it was garbage from the get-go. I contacted the warranty service about this and all they could say was, "Sorry we couldn't help, and sorry about the cost of repairs. We can send you a new compressor if you give us your address." The fridge doesn't need a new compressor! It needs EVERYTHING but the compressor. So laughable. This is the last time I'll ever buy a fridge from WebstaurantStore, and definitely the last time I'll ever buy anything whatsoever that says Avantco on the front. Save your money and go get a fridge from a local restaurant supplier or big retailer. MUCH better warranty and customer service all round! WebstaurantStore should be reported to the Better Business Bureau for peddling this kind of junk and burdening hard working food service entrepreneurs with money traps.

This Avantco 29" solid door reach-in refrigerator is very affordable. such a great quality and shipped fast. I would highly recommended buying this product. Love this product!!!

For the price and space it provides, I give it 2 stars and then 1 star for accessibility. Loss of two stars for long lasting. I've bought over a dozen of these and typically at around the 14-24 months mark, you'll have to do repairs. I've have 2 of these required new compressors (additional service fees). All of them loose freon (another serv ice fee) One replacement of a door seal 4 repairs - thermostat or controller replacements. For this cost, I should have bought a better brand.
