A painted aluminum interior with a 304 stainless steel floor gives you increased durability, while a 430 stainless steel door and exterior sides give it a sleek appearance. For convenience, 3 epoxy coated shelves feature shelf clips for customization when desired.

Designed to maintain temperatures from -8 to -1 degree Fahrenheit, this freezer boasts a bottom-mounted 2/3 hp compressor that Uses R-290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. In addition, the bottom-mounted design makes it easy for employees to load and unload products due to the raised bottom shelf. For optimal temperature retention, the entire cabinet is foamed-in place using polyurethane insulation. Other helpful features include the stay open locking door mechanism, automatic defrosting, and a digital temperature control with digital display. This item requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

We have had the 39 1/2" Solid Door Reach-In Freezer in use since November 2022. It stopped working May 2026. After being within freezer temp the evening before, this morning it was making a loud rattling noise and 36.9 degrees Fahrenheit. We keep it clean inside and out and it receives light use in our small shop. Webstaurant Customer Solutions said it's still within the 5-year compressor warranty period, so if that's the cause, we may be covered. We'll submit a claim and see. Otherwise, it's certainly priced to be replaced every 2-5 years, as has been the experience of other reviewers, compared to other brands of freezers that may have better quality parts and perhaps last longer. I will update my review with our warranty experience if it gives me the option.

The freezer came to us not working. We imme got a hold of Webstaurant and wanted to exchange for one that works, and they won’t do that. They had us send it through the warranty process, and they wanted to send a technician out to fix a brand new freezer. They couldn’t find anybody to work on it, so here we sit with a freezer that doesn’t work, and Webstaurant won’t refund our money or exchange for one that works. Buyer beware!!!!

Don't get this freezer, had it for 3 years and the compressor went out..$ to replace it and 3-5 weeks to wait for the compressor to get here. This is an absolute joke of a product!!

No, reach-in refrigerators are intended for keeping cold food chilled, not chilling hot food. If you are looking for a unit to quickly chill hot food, check out our Avantco Refrigeration blast chillers.

To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.

If your unit has pre-installed casters, it may be secured directly to the pallet for safe transport. To remove it safely, tilt the unit slightly to one side and use a wrench or socket set to loosen the bolts attaching it to the pallet. In some cases, you may need to pry up a pallet plank with a hammer to access the bolts or to release casters nested within the pallet base. If you are unsure or need assistance, we recommend contacting a local moving or equipment installation service for help.
