A painted aluminum interior with a 304 stainless steel floor gives you increased durability, while a 430 stainless steel door and exterior sides give it a sleek appearance. For convenience, 3 epoxy coated shelves feature shelf clips for customization when desired.

Designed to maintain temperatures from -8 to -1 degree Fahrenheit, this freezer boasts a bottom-mounted 2/3 hp compressor that Uses R-290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. In addition, the bottom-mounted design makes it easy for employees to load and unload products due to the raised bottom shelf. For optimal temperature retention, the entire cabinet is foamed-in place using polyurethane insulation. Other helpful features include the stay open locking door mechanism, automatic defrosting, and a digital temperature control with digital display. This item requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

From the first day of receiving this freezer it doesn't work. After waiting 48 hours for the freezer to settle in place, we plugged it in and set the temperature. Each time, the freezer temperature gets hotter by the moment until near 90 degrees at which time we unplug it for a day to cool down and then we've tried again following instructions. Not working!

Stopped working 1 week after delivery. Webstraurant told me to call the warranty service for repairs. I expected them to take care of setting it up. Hope this process goes smooth, otherwise I bought a brick.

We have had our freezer for just over a year. It is used in a food bank at our church so maybe not as much usage as a commercial setting, but we have had no issues so far. We bought another unit 6 months ago and it has worked flawlessly as well. We are looking to buy a third and hope we have the same experience. Never contacted customer service so I can't speak to that, but the fit and finishes were all very nice.

the compress went out. they replaced the compresser had a hvac company replace the compresser and went out again a month later a week after the warrenty was up. Cost more to fix than replacer the unit.

No, reach-in refrigerators are intended for keeping cold food chilled, not chilling hot food. If you are looking for a unit to quickly chill hot food, check out our Avantco Refrigeration blast chillers.

To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.

If your unit has pre-installed casters, it may be secured directly to the pallet for safe transport. To remove it safely, tilt the unit slightly to one side and use a wrench or socket set to loosen the bolts attaching it to the pallet. In some cases, you may need to pry up a pallet plank with a hammer to access the bolts or to release casters nested within the pallet base. If you are unsure or need assistance, we recommend contacting a local moving or equipment installation service for help.
