Make frozen food storage as convenient as possible with the Avantco 70" 3 door mega top stainless steel refrigerated sandwich prep table. With a spacious freezer portion readily accessible through its single door, the unit opens up to a shelf to help you organize your ingredients and best utilize the 5.5 cu. ft. interior. Plus, because it accommodates up to 88 lb., the epoxy-coated steel shelf is well equipped for holding heavy bulk ingredients, from frozen broccoli and cauliflower to frozen pork chops. This unit's top accommodates up to (30) 1/6 size food pans up to 6" deep (sold separately).

This unit is designed for outstanding durability to ensure that it withstands tough, busy kitchen environments with ease. It features a 430 type stainless steel exterior, which provides both strength and a smooth, sleek appearance. The interior, made with 304 type stainless steel, also offers the durability necessary for heavy, regular use. Because of its undercounter design, the unit effortlessly adds frozen storage space beneath a pre-existing countertop and doesn't require additional space for its own footprint.

This freezer ensures optimal performance by operating with a 2/3 hp refrigeration system that circulates R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain temperatures from -8 to -1 degree Fahrenheit. R290 refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. The foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation helps provide structural rigidity and maintain internal temperatures.

Operation of the freezer is easy, thanks to its special features. Monitor it by consulting the interior wall-mounted thermometer, and use the auto-defrost feature on the pre-programmed digital controller to maintain the freezer in tip-top shape. 2 1/2" casters make moving simple for easy cleaning and bring the unit to an ADA-compliant working height. This undercounter freezer requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

Cooler worked for about 2 weeks. Took about 1 month to get someone to repair. They were unable to fix the issue of the cooler not holding temp. Was sent a replacement cooler. The replacement worked for about 3 months. This one does not hole temperature will jump to 70-100 degrees within minutes. Another claim is in.

I bought this unit back in April 2024 for my food truck and we started it using it in September, it only last us about 7 months. I also bought the extended warranty but they don’t want to fix it because we have it on a food truck. Don’t buy anything from Avantco.

Worst refrigerator ever, brought 2 in the kitchen line and after months both broke down , after warranty claims finally a tech came and found an evaporator leak. , changed everything in it and after 2 weeks broke down again . Warranty again and they had to replace it they said, now 18 months in it broke again “ evaporator leak and warranty now won’t cover anything else they have told me. Very poorly made product and service

This fridge has lots of room for inserts of prepped food and lots of storage space underneath. We've had ours in a hot kitchen for a year and it's been working like a charm.

I hope it helps someone else as a warning, we purchased this table top new, connected it and it stopped working after a few hours. It took over a week for a technician to come out and look at it. It was the cooling fan. Avantco could not be reached by technician to ask the part be mailed out. They would try again after the holidays. The way it works is they mail us the part to us, then we call the technician to schedule repair again. Putting us close to an month without the equipment we need to run our business. I wont be purchasing equipment from webstaurant. We learned that Their policy is that if you plug it in they cant return the equipment. This is the most ridiculous policy. All items, electronics, etc you can return within 30 days. Not at webstaurant.. how is one to know a new equipment will be defective and you cant return? Better to invest in good quality equipment than these cheap brands that wont even go for a day. Also, go to your local restaurant stores, they offer you more assistance than an apology for the inconvenience.

Using this unit in consistent ambient temperatures above 75 degrees Fahrenheit will void the warranty. Any exposure to ambient temperatures of 90 degrees Fahrenheit or above will also void the warranty.

To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.

Many manufacturers offer their refrigeration equipment in several different height options to best meet your needs. Here's a breakdown of how we classify these different heights:

Counter Height: Work surface is more than 34" high; standard-height unit.

ADA Height: Work surface height is 34" or less; complies with ADA regulations.

Low Profile: Work surface height is less than 32"; designed to fit under most ADA-height counters.

If the unit you are purchasing does not have a flat top, such as a worktop or sandwich/salad prep table, it may affect whether or not it will align with certain countertops. To ensure that the product will meet your needs, please reference the product's literature and specifications.

The types of pans and pan sizes that should be used in your Avantco refrigerated prep table depend on the table model and size. It’s important to refer to your equipment's Specification Sheet and/or Owner's Manual to see what pan sizes and configurations are recommended. Certain accessories may be needed in order to use pans of a different size than what is recommended.

It is also important to note that mixing and matching pans from different manufacturers may result in the pans not fitting properly. To ensure your pans will fit, refer to the items listed in the product’s "Works With" section. The pan sizes and configurations that each refrigerated prep table accommodates may vary. The items included in the “Works With” section may be used in your model, though configurations combining two or more different pan sizes may not be possible or may require adjustments to be made. The exceptions below apply to the model type indicated:

Mega Top Models – Can fit up to (3) 1/3 size pans from front to back without the use of a middle divider; 1/3 and 1/6 size pans cannot be combined in the same section

Standard Top Models – To use 1/3 size pans, included divider bars must be removed, or narrower divider bars must be used

Pizza Prep Models – While 1/3 size pans are the standard to use in pizza prep models, 1/6 size pans may be used when the orientation is changed
