A painted aluminum interior with a 304 stainless steel floor gives you increased durability, while a 430 stainless steel door and exterior sides give it a sleek appearance. For convenience, this model comes with 3 epoxy coated shelves which can each hold up to 88 lb. of refrigerated product. Each shelf features shelf clips so you can customize the shelf locations to meet the needs of your business.

Designed to maintain temperatures from 33-40 degrees Fahrenheit, this refrigerator boasts a bottom-mounted 1/3 hp compressor that uses R-290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. In addition, the bottom-mounted design makes it easy for employees to load and unload products due to the raised bottom shelf. It is also easier to reach for maintenance. For optimal temperature retention, the entire cabinet is foamed-in place using polyurethane insulation. Other helpful features include the stay open / locking door, automatic defrosting, and a digital temperature control with a digital display. This item requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

I have three of these. Two are 1.3-years-old and the other is four years. One of the 1.3-year-old refrigerator’s door fell off. Like literally fell off. Im standing there and it fell off. A tiny piece of the bottom hinge broke. Upon inspection I saw that the hinges are made out of pot metal and not a rugged medal. Unfortunately for me, the refrigerator was slightly out of warranty and I had to purchase an entire new door for a few hundred dollars because the tiny part that broken was part of the door. I installed the new door, removed the protective white plastic from it and found that door dented. So I ordered a replacement. If you buy these I would totally recommend the extended warranty option. They do work well and I’ve had no issues. My kitchen is not hot, though. We average 72 degrees. If your kitchen is pushing 100 degrees, you might have a problem with the mechanicals dying quicker.

Nice looking fridge. Runs fine but I would not buy again. Not an easy close door- they shut quite hard. The seals on both doors are loose and one will not pop back in on two areas.

I’ve been very disappointed with the stability of this Avantco refrigerator. It seems too tall for its depth, making it incredibly unstable. Every time we open the door, it tilts forward—almost like it’s going to fall over. We’ve tried adjusting it, but the design just doesn’t seem well-balanced. For a commercial unit, I expected better durability and stability. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this model unless you plan on securing it to prevent tipping.

This product is absolutely horrible. The door has broken twice already and it’s not even a high value kitchen like that I have three other fridges the compressor as many have said above is an absolute failure. I’ve had the product for less than two years, and I was recently told that the warranty changed and they can’t do anything about it. Just have a local service person come in to fix it. Please do your due diligence and find a better product than this

To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.
