Product Features
Add ice cream or frozen treats and novelties to your business and boost impulse sales with the help of this Avantco DFF16-HCL 60 1/4" flat top display freezer. Thanks to a spacious interior this freezer is an excellent choice for convenience stores, diners, and markets. The locking glass lids protect your cold treats during off hours, while the crystal clear visibility and LED lighting show off the products within.
This freezer's front-facing temperature control is tamper-proof, preventing accidental adjustment and ensuring that the quality of your frozen treats won't be compromised. The temperature control can be adjusted easily with a screwdriver when necessary.
The interior is made of painted steel, while the exterior is made of white powder coated steel, ensuring durability and longevity in your commercial environment. Five PVC-coated baskets are included to help organize the freezer's contents and keep smaller items within easy reach of your customers.
The included casters make moving the unit for cleaning and maintenance much simpler. The freezer's bottom-mount 1/2 hp compressor uses R-290 refrigerant to deliver consistent temperatures between -8 and -4 degrees Fahrenheit. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. Plus, a drain and plug make cleaning and defrosting the interior a breeze. A 115V electrical connection is required for operation.

We purchased this unit in June of '22. Repair person here yesterday. Of course, out of warranty. No way top check the pressure of refrigerant so he put one in. Did what he needed to do for trouble shooting & replaced the refrigerant. Cooled down for 12 hours but now at 40 degrees. We bought it because it fit the space, looked good, and was available quickly. No local options. Several competitors use the same freezer & have not had issues though they have had theirs for less time. Wish we would have waited and paid more for a better model. Between the repair person coming out again today & the hundreds of dollars of lost product we are disappointed.

G. Charles BakeryI am rating this item two stars because it worked well while I was able to use it. In March of 2022 the inside lid broke. I searched this website to find a replacement. After I couldn’t find one. I spoke with someone through messenger who told me to put my email on a list and I would get an email once the lid became available. It is now 25 May 2022. No lid. I really believe the customer service person was just telling me what I wanted to hear with no intention of follow through.

Stopped working after a year and a half. Of course, this unit is covered only by a one-year replacement warranty (not very typical in refrigeration), and not the typical 1 year labor and parts/5 year compressor warranty. Don't waste your time with this unit, spend the extra dollar so you don't have to haul it away to the dumpster.
