With a spacious refrigerated portion readily accessible through its two doors, the unit opens up to two shelves to help you organize your ingredients and best utilize the 14.2 cu. ft. interior. Plus, because they each accommodate up to 90 lb., the epoxy-coated steel shelves are well equipped for holding heavy bulk ingredients, from dozens of eggs to jars of condiments and sauces.

This unit is designed for outstanding durability to ensure that it withstands tough, busy kitchen environments with ease. It features a 430 type stainless steel exterior, which provides both strength and a smooth, sleek appearance. The interior, made with 304 type stainless steel, also offers the durability necessary for heavy, regular use. Because of its undercounter design, the unit effortlessly adds refrigerated storage space without requiring space devoted solely to its footprint.

This refrigerator ensures optimal performance by operating with a 1/3 hp refrigeration system that circulates R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain temperatures from 33 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. R290 refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. The foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation helps to maintain internal temperatures and adds rigidity to the body's structure.

Operation of the refrigerator is easy, thanks to its special features. Monitor it by consulting the interior wall-mounted thermometer, and use the auto-defrost feature on the pre-programmed digital controller to maintain the refrigerator in tip-top shape. At the end of the day, take advantage of the casters and roll the unit aside to thoroughly clean the area. This undercounter unit requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.

I started another new business last year and bought 4 Avantco refrigerators and 1 used 15yr old refrigerator. Guess which of these still works correctly. The insulation in Avantco refrigerator is not good enough and the temp controllers do not operate correctly. I store MILK and HALF AND HALF at 33F set point but this model and all others I purchased keep the temp at 39-42F. We loose alot of product because the shelf life is decreased. The units internal temp heats up quickly and the Avantco compressors do not turn on until the internal temp reaches 40F! The compressor then turns on and brings the air temp down to about 33F then immediately shuts off. It wont come back on until it hits 40F again which take about 30-50minutes! All the products in the fridge remain at around 40F. This is barely within California Law requirements. Many times it is over 40F which is outside of the holding temp regulations. I was lured into this purchased by quick delivery and am not happy about these units. They are defective and I see they are still for sale. I have written reviews on other products like this and Webstaurant says they will contact me in there reply here and they do not.

The fridge works well, after you have it serviced the first time. It cools great but doesn't kick back on until it gets to around 45 degrees inside, which doesn't pass health department inspections. The technician told me it's a very common problem to have and he changed a setting and replaced one part in about 20 minutes and it's worked fine ever since. (3 years ago).

Bought in November of 2019. So far so good! I got tired of buying top of the line Refridgeration only to have it crap out and cost an arm and a leg to repair. These are the type you use for 5 years and replace. Works for me.

This fridge is a great addition to our coffee shop. We use it under our espresso machine to hold milk, cream, steaming pitchers, and syrups. It's very spacious and keeps everything cold. Be sure to read the manual before messing with the temperature controls. It's easy to maintain and clean. It came with the shelves and clips. It's a little tall if your counters are ADA at 36" or lower. We had to take the wheels off and put it on sliders in order to fit it where we needed it. Thankfully that worked out well.

It should not be built into cabinetry. This unit requires 3” of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.

To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.

Many manufacturers offer their refrigeration equipment in several different height options to best meet your needs. Here's a breakdown of how we classify these different heights:

Counter Height: Work surface is more than 34" high; standard-height unit.

ADA Height: Work surface height is 34" or less; complies with ADA regulations.
