50" Stainless Steel Horizontal Bottle Cooler

This Avantco black horizontal bottle cooler is surprisingly affordable and dependable.The black color is very attractive and it is very easy to clean. I got my money's worth.

I purchased this cooler instead of the similar size Beverage Aire model because reviews on other sites of the bevaire cooler indicated it was very noisy and I didn't need that in my intimate pub. The Avantco unit arrived pretty quickly and was well packaged. It was relatively light and I was able to get it running pretty quickly. It is very quiet and the bottle opener / cap catcher and locking slides are a nice bonus. Unfortunately, this cooler has a 7 degree temperature differential... meaning that if you set the temp to 33 degrees, the temp will rise to about 40 degrees before the compressor kicks in to start cooling the contents. This is way too great of a variance in my opinion. Beer freezes around, I think, 27 degrees, but soda freezes around 32. So you can't really set the cooler much lower than 33, but beer and wine served at 40 degrees is too warm for many drinkers. If the differential could be reduced to, say 5 degrees, I'd be a lot happier with this cooler. One quick tip: As of right now, the stainless steel model costs a bit more, but comes with a 2-year of warranty, making it a better deal than buying the black model with an add-on 2-year warranty. The warranty card for the cooler doesn't actually give a length of time for the warranty for the black model, but I'm guessing they meant it to be one year. In any event, for peace of mind, I suggest going the stainless steel route if you don't mind the wide variance in temps.

This is the best investment I have ever made. Handles a large volume of bottles, keep them chilled quickly and perfectly for my patrons. Only problem is I wished I had bought two of them!

Great cooler, lots of space, I like the fact you can take the dividers or keep from separation of the drinks. Very easy to adjusted the temperature control. This is my second cooler I highly recommended . Never give me any problems

Cooler works great just as promised. It is quiet and nice looking. The lid slide well and do not stick. Ours is stocked with beer and it is ice cold. The digital temperature control is super nice and easy to adjust.
