Converts select Avantco reach-in refrigeration equipment to a left-hand door hinge

Use this Avantco 178CFD1KITFR hinge kit to convert the right-hinged door on your CFD1FF and CFD1RR reach in to a left-hinged design. It comes with the top left hinge bracket and bottom left pivot hinge, necessary for the conversion.

This door switching kit helped us swap our freezer door to open away from a heat source and keep the contents inside at temp. It was easy to swap out with the instructions.

These are heavy and easy to use to replace the as shipped hinges to the opposite hand. It was a pretty easy change but did require a little help to hold the door a couple of time.

Easy to install and switch door around to open from other side. Without this we probably wouldn't be able to use the fridge as efficiently because of its location.

We ordered the Avantco CFD-1FF freezer which came as a right handed opener. We needed to convert it to a left-handed open so we tried to order the parts needed according to the user manual of the freezer but it wasn't an item on Webstaurantstore. I then chatted with a lovely Webstaurantstore employee who helped point me to the correct product. My father easily switched the door to a left-open once we received this kit. Now we have the perfect freezer for our line.
